Finding partners for Health projects

SMEs go Health

Are you seeking additional partners for your consortium or wishing to advertise your expertise? The SMEs go Health project could help.

SMEs go Health is an SSA funded in the final call for Life Sciences in FP6. It will run for three years from February 2007 to 2010 and has contacts in 30 countries.

The aim of the project is to support SMEs and academic researchers in the Health theme to foster trans-European collaborations. It builds upon the SME go LifeSciences project, providing a pool of European-wide SME profiles and partner searches in a user-friendly on-line database.

The main activities are:

  • Awareness building and training of SMEs and researchers with respect to opportunities and rules in FP7.
  • Improving the visibility of SME know-how and the expertise of researchers.
  • Supporting SMEs and academic institutions in consortium building through match-making facilities and partnering activities.
  • Planned activities include:

  • Transnational training and partnering events to take place in Europe throughout the life time of the project.
  • Information about the SMEs go Health project and the partner search facility are available here: SMEs go Health home page: www.smesgohealth.org

Are you interested in joining an existing Integrated Project or Network of Excellence?

Integrated Projects and Networks of Excellence funded in Framework can recruit new partners (companies, universities, research centres etc) on the basis of open calls, using either resources set aside for this purpose in the projects original budget or additional funding offered by the Commission.

For some organisations this may represent an ideal route into a Framework project. Participants will be able to access cutting edge technologies and will also be directly connected to active international networks of leading researchers in their own fields.

Competitive calls are announced on CORDIS http://www.cordis.lu/fp6/projects_call.htm and on the SMEs go Health website www.smesgohealth.org
