Welcome to the UK National Contact Point for Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies Materials and new Production Technologies - NMP. NMP is a €3.5b programme that is broad-based and relevant to all key industrial and technology sectors in the UK. Our aim is to ensure that we can maximise your chances of success in Europe. We will provide you with a support service that will help you understand what the Programme offers in the context of the business objectives your organisation.

The goals of the NMP Programme cover 4 areas:

• Increase and support the take-up of knowledge generated in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology for all industrial sectors.
• Generate new Materials knowledge to enable new industrial products and processes to be made, exploiting the potential of interdisciplinary approaches in materials research.
• Create continuously innovating Production capabilities to achieve leadership in industrial products and processes in the global market place.
• Promote deployment and integration of new industrial applications that accelerates the rate of industrial transformation and enhances European technological competitiveness.

How we can help

For the NMP theme, we can:

• Highlight the latest news and views on the programme, offering expert and impartial guidance in Work Programme structure and content for those applying for EC funding.
• Provide access to key documents and presentations that help to explain all aspects of participation in FP7
• Provide free guidance and information on the application process and calls for proposals - current and future
• Advise on proposal strategy and positioning, helping you to liaise directly with commission representatives to help ensure that your proposal aligns to what the Commission are asking for
• Signpost to the NMP community and relevant events to assist in consortium and network formation
