ICT Theme
FP7 was launched at the end of 2006 with a budget in excess of 50B Euros for the seven years 2007-2013. The ICT theme (known as IST in FP6) commands more than 9B Euros to be spent principally upon collaborative research and technological development projects.
ICT Call 6 – The most recent ICT Call opened on 24 November 2009, with a principal close date of 13 April 2010. The indicative budget for this call is 286 M Euro. Further details see here

Proposals to this scheme, made at any time are collected over 4 month periods into batches for evaluation. The first eight batches have closed, Further batches will follow until the current call closes on 24 May 2011. It is anticipated that the scheme will be further extended beyond this date.
