FP7UK

Welcome

Welcome to the new website for Framework 7 and the FP7UK National Contact Point (NCP) service. FP7UK exists to provide information and advice to help you achieve success in the latest European Framework Research and Development Programme. Many UK participants were successful in the previous programme and, with revised rules and funding rates, there are great new opportunities for UK organisations if FP7. We look forward to helping you become a winner.

The Framework Programmes for research and technological development (RTD) are the EU's main source of support for organisations undertaking internationally collaborative RTD. The current Framework Programme, FP7, will run from 2007-13 with a budget of 50.5bn Euros. FP7UK is the prime source of information for UK organisations on the EUs Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

On this site you can find information about calls for funding applications, events, press releases, success stories and news which could help you with your application. There is also a helpline to provide general advice or signpost you to more specific sources of assistance - contact us on 0870 600 6080 or email help@fp7uk.co.uk

If you are new to FP7, click on FP7 Is it for you? for an introduction. For users who already know about FP7, or who have participated in a previous framework programme, this site provides news, information and contact details for each of the National Contact Points (NCPs) in the different thematic areas.

Third call for Health delayed.

Confirmation has been received from the Commission that the next call for proposals for Health will be delayed until September.  The delay is related to the agreement of  budget figures with other Directorates at the Commission for other activities in the Cooperation programme (COST, CORDIS, ERA-NET etc).  The Health theme is hoping to adopt the workprogramme in late August with the call publication date to follow shortly after, most likely the 3rd September.  Deadlines for submission to be confirmed when the call is published, but envisaged to be around the 3rd or 5th of December. The delay not only affects the Health theme but also other themes that had planned to open calls in July, namely Food and Environment. Further details regarding the next round of funding for Health can be viewed here: http://www.fp7uk.co.uk/site/ThematicAreas/Health/default.cfm?subcat=Calls&Theme=Health
